First off, nice writeup Devin. Even a noob like myself could make sense of what you wrote. Secondly, not every noob is willing to take the chance on themselves tuning maps based on Devin's write up. While it is very informative, we all know that incorrectly tuned ECU's can wreck havoc on the car. It's a no brainer. Yes there will be tuning shops like SGP who can use the info and make custom ecu's for their clients. I highly support this move. Ash, I've been around this board and read enough post to know that you have my respect and i do regard your work on Z's but from the defense of protecting interest to where you give / allow false impressions of competitors is not justifiable. This country has a HUGE issue against monopoly in business, as you are well aware. Business ethics as well as personal integrity are intermingled. For Devin to blow wide open the mystery of the ECU map and tuning is a great boon to the Z community. For anyone to selfishly hide or attempt to discredit a person's findlings for selfish gain is morally wrong. I think you will agree with me there. This community is built on one principal, helping others and accepting help from others. Carlos' point of building a better product makes the most sense. We are educated people, able to make educated choices. If better products are built and proven, who in their right mind would buy a lesser product (all other factors like cost aside). Therefore the gauntlet has been thrown. Will you, Devin or anyone else accept the challenge of building better products remains to be seen. I sincerely hope you all do and for the betterment of the community as well as your individual businesses.
